Recoup ("we", "us") operates https://recoup.llc. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it when you use our failed-payment audit tool.

Information we collect

Stripe Connect data: When you connect Stripe, we receive an access token and your Stripe account ID. We use this only to read payment-related data needed to estimate lost revenue (for example failed PaymentIntents).
Email address: If you submit your email on a report page, we store it to notify you about product updates.
Usage analytics: We use Google Analytics (GA4) for basic product funnel events (for example page views and connect completions).

How we use information

Generate your failed-payment loss report
Store encrypted Stripe access credentials so we can complete analysis
Send product notifications you requested
Improve reliability and understand conversion funnel performance

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We use processors necessary to run the service:

Stripe (Connect OAuth and payment data APIs)
Supabase (database hosting)
Resend (transactional email)
Vercel (application hosting)
Google Analytics (product analytics)

Security

Stripe access tokens are encrypted at rest. We do not use connected Stripe accounts to charge customers, send customer emails, or move funds as part of this audit product.

Data retention

We retain connection and report data as needed to provide the service and for reasonable business records. You may request deletion by contacting support.
